As everyone knows, Phase 1 of reopening retail stores and salons began on May 11th, 2020. What does this mean for Master Pierce? Can you finally get the piercing or tattoo you have been waiting for? Jewelry upgrades are also possible again! We are just as excited as you are to hear that Palm Beach County is allowing us to reopen. Of course, we must follow the Governor’s orders, and each county may have different rules.

What This Means for Master Pierce

Since reopening, we are allowed to sell our beautiful jewelry as a retail store. You can purchase jewelry pieces or join a waitlist for custom orders. However, we cannot pierce or install jewelry at this time. We also cannot perform tattoos yet. Aftercare solutions are available, and we will gladly show you step-by-step how to install jewelry safely yourself. We know this news may be disappointing, but future phases should allow full services to return soon.

For troubleshooting piercings, we can still help. While we cannot provide hands-on assistance, we are trained to guide clients remotely. We will help identify the problem, suggest changes, and recommend solutions to resolve issues quickly. For jewelry installations or troubleshooting, we will do everything possible to help you safely. Support is available by text, email, direct message, or even FaceTime if needed.

Next Steps

When we fully reopen on May 18th, 2020, new safety protocols will be in place. These rules protect both clients and staff.

Client Rules:

  • Please schedule appointments to limit foot traffic.

  • Masks and hand sanitizing are required before entry.

  • Check your temperature before arriving for your appointment.

  • Reschedule if you show any signs of illness.

Shop Rules:

  • The shop will be sanitized every morning at 11 a.m.

  • Staff will wear gloves and masks while helping clients.

  • Surfaces and equipment will be cleaned after each client visit.

These measures help keep everyone safe. With COVID-19 still present, we must remain cautious.

Please Be Understanding

These times are difficult for everyone, especially essential workers. We ask for patience and kindness as we follow health policies. Our goal is to return to providing piercings and tattoos, but restrictions remain. Rules may change weekly, and Phase 2 could begin soon—or restrictions may increase again.

We promise to update you with a new post when tattoos and piercings are officially allowed again. Thank you for your understanding and support as we move forward together.

In challenging times, it is better to stand united as friends than divided. By working together, we will overcome this. The piercing and tattoo industry will emerge stronger, with even greater focus on safety and care. The Master Pierce Team cannot wait to see everyone again and help you feel like your best self!
