Child with guardian at Master Pierce studio undergoing minors piercing consultation

Minors Age 5-12

At Master Pierce, we’re dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our young clients. To ensure their well-being, we have established the following policies for minors between the ages of 5 and 12:

CONSULTATION AND PIERCING PROCESS

We require a consultation prior to piercing to get to know the child and their guardian better. This consultation allows us to provide the best possible experience for them.  During the consultation, we will:

– Discuss the child’s piercing options and help them choose the right piercing for their age and maturity level

– Explain the piercing process and what to expect

– Answer any questions or concerns the child or guardian may have

– Ensure that the child is comfortable and willing to proceed with the piercing, If all goes well, we’ll pierce the minor or schedule a different date if necessary

WHY WE DO CONSULTATIONS

We believe that a consultation is essential for ensuring the child’s comfort and safety during the piercing process.  It allows us to build trust and rapport with the child and their guardian, which is crucial for a positive experience. It also gives us the opportunity to assess the child’s maturity level and ability to understand the piercing process and how to take care of it during the healing process.

On the day of the piercing, there is a strict 30-minute window to finish the procedure. If the piercing cannot successfully be completed within those 30-minutes, a second appointment may be made with an additional $15 deposit.
