Kayla started piercing in 2013 when she began an apprenticeship under former-head piercer Hardt Von Sachs. She completed another year of study under Michael Brazell before embarking on her career as a professional piercer at Master Pierce.
In 2018, Kayla joined the ranks of the Association of Professional Piercers. The Association of Professional Piercers is a California-based, international non-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of vital health and safety information about body piercing to piercers, health care professionals, legislators, and the general public.
In the 5 years total she's been with Master Pierce, Kayla has advanced her education and skill set by gaining certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens for Body Piercers. She has plans to attend various classes and seminars to further her education even more. Kayla's favorite part of the job is admittedly the jewelry. She enjoys the challenge behind placing pieces to the anatomy of a client, and she loves when the piece and the person fit together perfectly!
